OUR CHAMBER
The British Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce (BECC) was established in 2022 with the support of the British Embassy in Addis Ababa and the Ethiopian Embassy in London. BECC is dedicated to facilitating and promoting bilateral trade between the United Kingdom and Ethiopia through three core pillars: networking, advocacy, and trade services.
The British Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce (BECC) promotes trade and investment between Ethiopia and Britain.
Over the centuries, Ethiopia has enjoyed close economic, diplomatic, and cultural relations with the United Kingdom.
In fact, Great Britain was among the first countries to open an embassy in Addis Ababa, while Ethiopia was the first African country to establish an embassy in London. Both countries collaborate on many issues of mutual concern at the regional and global levels.
